2002 Toyota Celica GT - Fast, Cool, and Furious

My car is a 2002 Toyota Celica GT. I bought it brand new back in the summer of 2002; a long time ago, but only if you measure it in terms of years. It had just come off the assembly line, and it cost just under $20,000. It is a 1.8-liter, automatic transmission, power
windows/locks/everything car. It gets about 35 or more miles to the gallon depending on where I drive it. For all sporty/compact cars released in 2002, it ranked second, in overall safety, only behind the Subaru WRX. In addition to all these technical specs, the car just plain looks cool.

A Long Running Sports Coupe, but How Does it Rate?

Although luxury sedans and SUVs all have their time and place, sometimes a person just wants to drive a car which is fun and entertaining. When that time comes, it seems that a large, top heavy nine passenger car or a sluggish family sedan simply won't do the job. In days past, when it
came to driving fun, many turned to two door sports coupes such as the Acura Integra, Volkswagen Corrado, Toyota MR2, and the such. However, it seems that the market for such vehicles has greatly declined. While many of the aforementioned sports coupes have faded from the market as a whole, a select few still remain, and those that do are manufactured to a new quality standard and must be prepared for the brutal competition and comparison that goes on with the few remaining vehicles on the market. Although the 2003 Toyota Celica may be one of the few left standing, that does not mean that it is the single best choice for buyers.
